Budget and precept agreed for 2025-26

Every January, the Parish Council meets to discuss and agree the budget for the year ahead and agree the precept. This is funded by the council tax paid by residents in the parish.
A precept figure of £20266.50 was calculated, which was an increase of £1270 compared to 2024-25 (£18996). With some funds in reserve, a precept of £19661 was agreed; an increase of 3.5%, inline with 2024 average inflation rates. To a household paying band D council tax rates, this will be an increase of around £2.32.
