FoDDC councillors have voted to proceed to the next stage of the Forest of Dean Local Plan, with a public consultation on the draft plan beginning 04 February and running until 18 March 2026.

Forest of Dean District Council invites residents to take an active role in the new Forest of Dean Local Plan, with a consultation on the revised draft plan starting 04 February 2026 and running through to 18 March 2026.
For Aylburton, two potential sites are being considered (see document), Chapel Hill (30 homes) and Stockwell Lane (15 homes).
