Millbrook Green Garages Site Details
The site consists of 22 garages, which are currently in a poor state of repair and may have roofs containing asbestos. This area is prone to flooding, which does limit it’s use, but due to the limited parking available in the village, the parish council is considering using this area as a carpark; there is potential for the parish council to generate income by charging for parking at the site.
There are various financial considerations to take into account, more information can be seen in the summary linked to this article. The parish council invites residents to consider the implications and opportunities of this potential land transfer and are invited to submit their views on the matter by email, in writing or in person at a parish meeting. The parish council meet on the first Tuesday of every month, at 6.30pm at Aylburton Memorial Hall.
